Dr. Zhang joined the institute as clinical embryologist in January 2008 after four years of post-doc research at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, McGill University. She has strong research background in developmental and reproductive biology technology. Dr. Zhang earned her B.Sc. in Biology at NanKai University, China, and later obtained her M.S. in Biochemistry at Shanxi Medical University. She completed her Ph. D. in Cell Biology at the Institute of Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001. Dr. Zhang went to France for two years of post-doc research work in Department of Developmental Biology at Pierre and Marie Curie University.
