Under the leadership of Dr. Tamer Said and our own Medical Director, Dr. Alfonso P. Del Valle, our Andrology Laboratory is a stand-alone, one of a kind unit that provides specialized tests and services to evaluate male infertility and help couples who are attempting to achieve a pregnancy. Our Laboratory offers referring physicians accurate, quantifiable results using the latest and the most sophisticated technology available. Our Laboratory personnel have extensive experience in the field and participate in a semi-annual external quality control program administered by the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).

The Andrology Laboratory at ReproMed is a state-of-the-art facility that has been uniquely designed based on clean room concept.
A clean room can be defined as a room where an attempt is made to limit, control, and eliminate the amount of airborne contamination. This concept has been strictly used in operating rooms and high complexity laboratories.
At ReproMed, we are taking an extra-step by using this concept to maintain the specimens’ integrity.
High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filters are installed to reduce contaminants and particulates. In addition, all sperm preparation techniques in conjunction with intrauterine insemination are performed under bio-safety cabinet to ensure a complete sterile environment for the samples.
